Month: October 2015
In Everything Give Thanks
The leaves have begun to turn to their beautiful fall wardrobe and we are blessed to see the handiwork of the Lord reserved for this season of the year. It is time to assess the fruitfulness of our year and to get everything in order and prepared before the winter comes. How goes your preparation? How deeply rooted is your faith in God? How appreciative are you right now of the ways in which God is at work in your life?
This month is a very important time for us all. It is a time to give thanks. Come see how we might give thanks together by viewing this month’s Newsletter and Calendar.
Remember, Laurel Hill is the host for our Community Thanksgiving Service on Wednesday, November 25th at 7:00 PM. Come share in a wonderful time of praise and hymn singing. The Rev. Sam Grozdanov from Four Mile Creek is our preacher.
A Quick Announcement for Our Mission Dinner & Auction
After last might’s Mission Committee meeting and following much discussion, the decision was made to move this fall’s dinner and auction event to Spring 2016 (March 5, 2016). Find out how you can still help make “Blessings and Blossoms” an awesome and effective mission event by checking with one of the Committee members or talking to Bill Holmes or Peggy Singlemann.
For all who have been hard at work for this event please hold on to your items. It will still be good and fruitful labor for the kingdom.
