Can you name at least one way God is at work in your life right now? It doesn’t have to be something complicated or humongous. It could be a simple kindness or a single word of encouragement. Whatever it is, take the time to give thanks to the Lord.

Laurel Hill has begun a new evening prayer service on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month at 7:00 P.M. These services will be focused on our many prayer concerns and prayers of gratitude. There will be opportunities for corporate and individual prayer. The beginning of each service will include a time to hear the Word and to reflect on the scripture passage. There will also be an opportunity to lift our voices to the Lord in song. Please consider taking advantage of this opportunity to share in prayer and to rejoice in God’s grace together. For additional information or if you have transportation needs, please contact Phil Deane at 804-334-9582.
We have also been called to join our brothers and sisters at Four Mile Creek for a special season of prayer for our Community Revival Services, September 11 – 13, 2016. Please click on this link and let us pray together!
The leaves have begun to turn to their beautiful fall wardrobe and we are blessed to see the handiwork of the Lord reserved for this season of the year. It is time to assess the fruitfulness of our year and to get everything in order and prepared before the winter comes. How goes your preparation? How deeply rooted is your faith in God? How appreciative are you right now of the ways in which God is at work in your life?
This month is a very important time for us all. It is a time to give thanks. Come see how we might give thanks together by viewing this month’s Newsletter and Calendar.
Remember, Laurel Hill is the host for our Community Thanksgiving Service on Wednesday, November 25th at 7:00 PM. Come share in a wonderful time of praise and hymn singing. The Rev. Sam Grozdanov from Four Mile Creek is our preacher.
