June 2018The month of June is a month of transition where we pray for Norman and Karen as they move to St. Paul’s UMC in Staunton and as we welcome Yunho and Joungwon Eo to Laurel Hill.  Also, please pray for our Annual Conference in Hampton, June 15 – 17 in Hampton, VA.

Please Remember Our Family in Your Prayers

NASH, Doreen May, 81, of Midlothian, Va., died peacefully with her family by her side December 4, 2014. Doreen was a native of Essex, England. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith T. Nash; her parents, James and Elizabeth Reynolds; her brother, Allister Reynolds; and her sister, Rose Barber. She is survived by her four children, Michael (Natasha), Richard (Brenda), Kevin (Jennifer), Karen Ramsey (Norman); grandchildren, Jessica, Miranda, Brittany, Ian, Ethan, Sandra, Keith, Robert (Sarah) and Hannah (Payton); stepgrandchildren, Justin, Mariah and Hayley; and great-grandchildren, Ava and Eli. She is also survived by a number of siblings and extended family in the United States and in Essex, England. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, as well as tending to her flower garden. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2014 at Bliley’s-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd. A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Midway Baptist Church, Phenix, Va., with interment in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Midway Baptist Church, 2595 Midway Rd., Phenix, Va. 23959.

Women’s Bible Study

inheritanceThe Women’s Bible Study resumes on Saturday, October 11th at 9:00 AM at the parsonage. This Bible Study Group will meet monthly on the 2nd Saturday of every month.
